Dr. Aurelie Lucette is a Miami based licensed psychologist in private practice who specializes in health psychology. She is originally from France and completed her Ph.D. in the US. She helps people who are diagnosed with cancer, their caregivers, and chronic pain sufferers to improve their quality of life. She helps them manage symptoms of anxiety and depression, and find meaning during their challenging new life.
Dr. Lucette helps women with chronic illnesses to continue working while managing their pain and other stressors. She helps with the side effects of treatment or medication and offers spiritual guidance. No one should suffer in silence and always get the best care to meet one's psychological needs. You feel less alone and are empowered to make positive changes in your life.
She will be discussing her three modalities of therapy used for sessions.
1. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
2. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
